The AYJ says thank you and farewell to Pippa Goodfellow
This week the AYJ says goodbye to Pippa Goodfellow, who has been the AYJ’s Chief Executive for the past five years.
The AYJ is now a registered charity!
The AYJ is delighted to announce that the Charity Commission has registered us as a charity, following our recent application and has been entered onto the Register of Charities.
Reimagining justice: AYJ’s policy influencing priorities for our new strategic period
The AYJ has worked with members, stakeholders and children and young people to identify four priority areas for our policy influencing work across 2023-25: Rethinking policing; Explaining and reforming racial disparities; Ensuring custody is a last resort; and Reframing violence.

The Alliance for Youth Justice launches today!
We are delighted to announce our relaunch as the Alliance for Youth Justice (AYJ), today, marking a new and exciting phase for the organisation previously known as the Standing Committee for Youth Justice (SCYJ). The AYJ brings together over 70 non-profit organisations, advocating for and with children to drive positive change in youth justice in England and Wales.
